Om virksomheden
Årsrapport 2025Planetary Responsibility Foundation is a commercial foundation which, through mission-driven investments and philanthropic projects, contributes to restoring and protecting the planet’s nature and biodiversity and to promoting sustainable development.
Development in activities and financesIn 2025, the Foundation continued its work to develop and follow up on its portfolio of purpose-related activities and investments. The activities included, among other things, a donation to the Corcovado Foundation in Costa Rica concerning rainforest restoration, the hosting of a series of the Foundation’s own outreach activities on nature literacy and nature restoration, and the publication of article series on best-practice nature restoration, nature considerations in business operations, and related topics. At the end of 2025, the purpose-related investment portfolio comprised Upstream Partners, Ponterra, Nature Development Company, and Foresight Media Group. The Foundation has been a driving force in the developmentand establishment of both Upstream Partners P/S, which was founded at the end of 2024, and Nature Development Company ApS. Nature Development Company ApS was founded in 2025 with the Foundation as co-founder and investor. In 2025, the company contributed to the development of a business model for nature restoration through the sale of high-integrity carbon credits with positive impacts on climate, biodiversity and local communities. The investment supports the Foundation’s Restore strategy. Upstream Partners supports the Foundation’s Rethink strategy through advisory services and analysis focused onnature-positive transition.
