Description of key activities of the companyThe principal activities of the company are to develop, manufacture and globally market mobile, turnkey systems for automated waste oil recovery and storage tank cleaning (ATC) in the oil and petrochemical industries as well as develop, manufacture and globally market Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Oxygen and Nitrogen producing systems for the general industry in addition to the oil and Petrochemical industry. Oreco’s tank cleaning and waste oil treatment systems offers a combination of oil tank cleaning with simultaneous or stand-alone separation of the cleaned-out sludge and waste. While Oreco’s PSA gas producing systems offers onsite and on-demand production of Nitrogen or Oxygen gasses both to the Oil and petrochemical industry, but also into several other large sectors such as aqua culture, glass industry, paper, and pulp industry and beyond.

Significant changes in the company's activities and financial mattersThere have been no significant changes in activities and financial matters. Oil production in the world is still rising. The petrochemical activities are relocating in the world, creating that Europe is slowing down and Far East and Africa are picking up. Throughout 2025 Oreco have successfully explored business in Indonesia, at the national oil company Pertamina (PT). Together with the local company WIS and an Oreco client Sergen Srl., the team provides tank cleaning for PT. The contract is for 5 years, and the first tank is about to begin in 2026. Oreco products are under constant pressure from competitors in both the ATC and the PSA market. Even with a high revenue in 2025, the cost of goods sold gives a smaller gross margin. To overcome the pressure on the PSA price marked, Oreco will slowly focus on PSA products with higher Gross Margins and reduce the focus on the PSA products with higher R&D requirements. The leaner approach to the market will create a sounder business in PSA. The development of the next generation of ATC products is targeted to begin in late 2026. The review is targeted at bringing down production cost to meet the challenges in the price market for ATC in general.
