Årsrapport 2025Of the partnership Saga V USD-B K/S (Saga V USD-B) is a fund-of-funds with a geographical focus on investments in North America. Investments are mainly made in small and mid market buy-out funds.
Performance in the financial year The financial year resulted in a loss of USD 9.2 million, corresponding to an IRR of -28.4%. Losses on investments in portfolio funds amounted to USD 9.7 million. Reversed carried interest accrued amounted to USD 0.5 million. In the financial year an amount of USD 7.0 million was distributed to the limited partners, bringing accumulated distributions to USD 153.4 million, corresponding to 305.3% of the limited partners’ paid-in capital. An aggregate amount of USD 7.5 million was distributed from portfolio funds during the financial year, bringing total distributions from portfolio funds and co-investment to USD 161.9 million, corresponding to 313.1% of the capital contributed to portfolio funds and co-investment. Investment activity In the period from inception to 30 September 2025 Saga V USD-B has invested in five portfolio funds and one co-investment. One of the portfolio funds has been liquidated as of 30 September 2025. Since inception the portfolio funds and co-investment have in general performed above expectations.
