The income statement for the period 01.10.23 - 30.09.24 shows a profit/loss of DKK -13,015,564 against DKK -3,423,386 for the period 01.10.22 - 30.09.23. The balance sheet shows equity of DKK -7,718,537. The management considers the net profit for the year to be disappointing since the market development of X-pander has failed and attempts to sell the assets have also been unsuccessful. However, after receiving multiple and substantiated indications from the market, that there will be a commercial value of a product very similar to X-pander but with a different application, the management sees an opportunity to make use of the company’s certifications and knowhow to create value on relatively short term. It is the management’s recommendation that it should be explored if pursuing this opportunity could restore the value of the company in the coming year. Significant uncertainty as regards going concern During the market development process of X-pander, a new product, in many ways similar to the X-pander but with a different application, has been requested by primarily US industry, distributors and surgeons. Since this product, requested by the market, is very similar in its mechanical design to X-pander, and it’s within the company’s capabilities to design such product and get it manufactured, it has been decided to investigate this opportunity in the coming financial year.
