Om virksomheden
Årsrapport 2025LGI Denmark ApS operates as a holding company within the LGI Group. Its primary activities comprise holding investments in subsidiaries and participating interests, as well as providing fi- nancing to group entities. The group’s subsidiaries operate with the following two business divisions: • Essentia Protein Solutions • BHJ Essentia Protein Solutions develops, produces and markets functional protein ingredients within meat processing, soup stock and nutrition. BHJ sources unused value streams from the global food production to create sustainable ingredi- ents and solutions for a number of new customer industries.
Highlights of the financial year During the financial year, the Company completed the acquisition of a 75% equity interest in Inter Ocean Norway AS, effective 1 November. Furthermore, as part of the Group’s ongoing strategic alignment and legal entity rationalisation, the entities BHJ Finland OY Ab and Essentia Protein Solutions Pte Ltd. were formally liquidated during the year. In addition, the Group’s legal structure in the UK has been streamlined, with all activities in the business division BHJ now consolidated under BHJ UK Ltd. Development in activities and financial performance LGI posted a profit before tax of DKK 290 million in the financial year ended 31 December 2025, compared with DKK 270 million last year. This development is in line with expectations as dis- closed in the annual report 2024 to be in the range DKK 275 – 295 million and considered satis- factory. Total assets amount to DKK 1.592 million, of which equity amounts to DKK 1.341 million, equal to 84.2%.
