Årsrapport 2024Operating review Business concept DSVM Invest A/S is an investment company with activities within transport, logistics and environmental solutions, raw materials for the building and construction industry, primarily in Denmark and Sweden as well as property development actitivities. The activities are organised in six independent portfolio companies operating within four main business areas Transportation: Transport and logistics solutions in Denmark and Sweden. Soil & Waste (disc. operations): Receipt of contaminated soil for clean-up and recycling, compost, concrete, asphalt and wood waste, etc., for processing and recycling, primarily in Denmark. Raw materials: Extraction and sale of raw materials from national network of gravel pits in Denmark. Property development: Development of properties aimed at logistic business solutions. Group highlights for the financial year 2023/24 Overall, 2023/24 revenues and EBITDA were in line with expectations as communicated in the 2022/23 annual report. EBITDA for disc. operations amounted to DKK 217 million (2022/23: DKK 205 million). The Group’s total revenues, DKK 2,999 million, were down by 16.4% from 2022/23 (DKK 3,586 million) following the divestment of GDL Sjöcontainer AB, a weakening of the SEK and an environment with continued tough competition. EBITDA before special items and other income amounted to DKK 191 million (2022/23: DKK 340 million). EBITDA after special items and other income amounted to DKK 377 million (2022/23: DKK 393 million) and was positively affected by sale of GDL Sjöcontainer AB and the sale land. The decrease in EBITDA was mainly contributed to by the Water and Raw Materials activities whereas the Transportation businesses had a positive development in EBITDA.
